Our 3-Hour Favela Walking Tour aims to educate you about life in a favela, which is such a big part of the culture of Rio de Janeiro. Also see how residents live and learn about the difficulties Rocinha – the largest Favela in Latin America.
It is very important to state that our favela tour is non-intrusive, respecting the community and the people living in it. Our tour guide is from Rocinha.

Our Favela Walking Tour focuses on a genuine experience with the aim to educate our guests about the favelas which are such a big part of life in Rio. Furthermore, the tour is conducted by a local experienced tour guide who knows the area very well. The tour is conducted in both English and Portuguese.
